SHANGHAI, CHINA – IP communications and contact center company Touchbase has capped an extremely successful start to its relationship with Cisco Systems®, the global leader in networking technology, by winning the coveted Cisco Partner of the Year award for Australia and New Zealand.
Touchbase Australia received the award at Cisco’s annual Asia Pacific Business Partner Summit in Shanghai. The award was judged on work with advanced technology, revenue and growth year on year.
Cisco Australia and New Zealand Vice President, Ross Fowler said the relationship with Touchbase had generated some strategically significant business for Cisco in the 2005/06 fiscal year. He said Touchbase was among a strong field of companies vying for the award.
“It’s pleasing to see what we’ve been able to accomplish with Touchbase so quickly. Our companies share a vision on how IP technology can improve the productivity of our customers’ businesses and I look forward to continuing our successful relationship in the coming year,” Mr Fowler said. “I warmly congratulate Touchbase on their well-deserved award.”
Touchbase Australia Managing Director Magnus Maynard said the award was incredibly satisfying as it recognized the hard work involved in forging a strong relationship with Cisco in a short period.
“Cisco is among the elite in our industry and to be recognized by them in this way is a fantastic achievement,” Mr Maynard said. “This is a great endorsement for our strategy and expertise in providing contact centers and support.”
Mr Maynard said the award vindicated Touchbase’s decision to align itself with Cisco’s market-leading technology. “Ultimately we believe that with Cisco as our partner we can take our service to a new level,” he said. Back to top
