Another global brand entrust Touchbase to deliver in India

BANGALORE, INDIA - With over 3,000 employees across 39 countries, and annual revenues in excess of $1billion, McAfee is the leading global provider of antivirus and network availability software, offering computer security to large enterprises, governments, small and medium businesses, and consumers.
Formerly Network Associates, McAfee have been a Touchbase client for over five years, developing from support client in the UK, to a pan-EMEA contract, then deployment of a converged architecture across EMEA.
In 2005 Touchbase USA secured four major sites into an enhanced support contract, and this week Touchbase was awarded the contract to support McAfees' new facility in Bangalore, India, housing 750 (day 1) software developers, support technicians, sales, and R&D staff.
Touchbase is also providing a voice link between India and Plano, Texas in conjunction with Touchbase's sister company, Touchbase Conexion. This is a significant step in the two year history of Touchbase Conexion. It highlights Conexion's ability to complete a Touchbase solution by designing, sourcing and fulfilling a client's global network requirements. This project has also introduced a new global network supplier to Touchbase's portfolio. VSNL (wholly owned by the Tata Group) specialize in delivering network services (including MPLS) into India from anywhere in the world and through their acquisition of Tyco, innovative wholesale routes into Tokyo and beyond.
This project has enabled Touchbase to prove our ability to deliver consistently anywhere across the globe. Touchbase is now working with the Procurement and Operations teams at McAfee to put in place a truly global support contract encompassing locations in North and South America, the Far East, India, EMEA, and Australasia.
